Happy Bastille Day!

Aujourd’hui, c’est La Fête Nationale en France…er…sorry, got a little too authentic there for a second. Today is Bastille Day! Also known as La Fête Nationale in France. Come on, you took a history class (or at least saw Les Mis) — it’s a celebration honoring the late 18th century French uprising which overthrew the oppressive monarchy and gave birth to the modern French nation. You knew that, right? Ugh. You are what the French call “les incompétents.”

Anyway, it’s also a good excuse to share pretty pictures of my last visit to La Belle France…à votre grand plaisir!
